Currarong and Beecroft Peninsula

CURRARONG AND BEECROFT PENINSULA

Currarong is the only village on Beecroft Peninsula – a quiet place of unspoilt beaches, crystal clear waters that form part of Jervis Bay Marine Park, beautiful bushland and wild dramatic cliffs.

Located 2.5 hours south of Sydney and 20 minutes from Nowra, Currarong and the Beecroft Peninsula are something of a hidden treasure. A short walk leads you to the Currarong rockpool, Abrahams Bosom Beach (protected and great for children) as well as Currarong Creek and the surf beach that stretches all the way to Culburra. Abrahams Bosom Reserve has some great walking tracks, with a wreck, bays and coves to explore and the famous Gosangs Tunnel which brings you through the cliffs to a breathtaking sea view from high on the rock shelf. A short drive on the peninsula brings you to Point Perpendicular lighthouse with its spectacular views over all of Jervis Bay and to gems like Honeymoon Bay and the white sands and turquoise water of Long Beach.

Currarong is that magic combination of beach and bush, of comfort and wild nature at your doorstep. Dive into the rockpool, teach your child to catch a wave, snorkel at perfectly formed Wilsons beach, kayak, learn to surf, go fishing, whale and dolphin watch, rockhop out at the wreck, play beach cricket, have a sunset drink on the deck, eat fish n chips, have a hit of tennis, nap, check out the Currarong Art Trail, read a book whilst surrounded by birdsong, make your own pizza, explore through Gosangs Tunnel, watch the sunrise from the cliffs. Welcome to Bundarwa!
